Abatec are currently recruiting for Manufacturing Operatives to join our client, a well-known, family run manufacturing business, based in Bedminster.

The positions have become available due to the company increasing their staffing levels, due to a surge in their workload and a solid order book for the next 3 years.


We are looking for individuals who are motivated, ambitious, hands-on people who want to develop their skills and start or further a career in the manufacturing sector within a market leading company.

The role is physically demanding and will include operating machinery, lifting, carrying, and assembling.

You will be given full training in the role therefore, no experience is necessary; however, this position would suit hard working individuals, who have previously worked in a factory environment.


All positions are temp to perm and we are looking for individuals, who want to stay long term and progress their career with out client.

Once you are a permanent staff member, the training and progression opportunities will continue along with pay increases to match.


As a Manufacturing Operative you will;

  • Work on a busy assembly line
  • Operate specialist machinery and equipment
  • Meet tight deadlines
  • Be an excellent team player

Our client requires a Manufacturing Operative with;

  • Relevant experience within production, manufacturing, or labouring (desirable but not essential)
  • Previous experience of using power tools and/or machinery (desirable but not essential)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within teams of all sizes
  • Good communication skills
