Experienced Patient Feeder Wanted in Liverpool

  • 5 out of 7 days a week
- shift times between 7:30am - 6:30pm

  • 25/30 hours per week overtime possible
  • BASIC DBS REQUIRED

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting patients with meal preparation and feeding, using adaptive equipment as necessary
  • Monitoring patients during meals and reporting any issues to the appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining a clean and organized feeding area and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order
  • Documenting patient feeding and fluid intake accurately and timely
  • Following infection control and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a patient feeder or in a related role is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and physically demanding environment
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and health & safety regulations
  • Compassionate and patient demeaner
