Senior Nursery Practitioner / Deputy Room Lead
£12.74ph (£26,499.20pa based on a 40 hour week)

40 hours per week, work over 4 or 5 days, whichever suits you best.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Room Leader and management team in providing the highest level of support and learning in the toddler room.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive environment for the children
  • Observations and write ups on children's development
  • Making the most of the beautiful surroundings by using our fully equipped garden and taking the children on day trips to local parks, farms and more
  • As the senior staff member in the room you will lead the room in the Room leads absence
  • Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe
  • Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five
  • Hold a minimum level 3 childcare qualification (highly desirable)
  • Have a good understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages)
  • Be able to work well in a team
  • Have good leadership skills
