Titan are currently working with a Freight Forwarder based in Birmingham who are looking to recruit an Customs Co-ordinator.

This role requires relevant experience of working within a busy Freight Forwarding environment and a good understanding of the necessary customs processes and documentation.

Role responsibilities –

  • Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs requirements andcompliance with overseas countries' regulations and fiscal regimes.
  • Arranging insurance and assisting the client in the event of a claim.
  • Arranging payment of freight and other charges, or collection of payment on behalf of the client.
  • Advising customers on use of the Company's tracking and management reporting systems.
  • Working closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure smooth operations to deadlines.
  • Invoice in accordance with the customers quotation or Company rates provided
  • Must follow strict timelines and KPI targets

The ideal candidate :

  • Familiar with Destin8 / CNS systems
  • Experience in using ASM Sequoia
  • Knowledge of incoterms
  • Knowledge of customs legislation.
  • Excellent communication and organisationskills.
