What we are looking for


We are looking for talented Content Producer experienced in producing and presenting a broad range of informative content for radio and other audio platforms, giving a voice to the blind and partially community around the UK and beyond.


RNIB's Connect Radio is the award winning radio station for the blind and partially sighted community, setting new standards for accessible broadcasting.


Broadcasting online, on FM in Glasgow and across the UK on Freeview 730, we want you to join our team and continue the success of our national radio station.


What you'll be doing


You'll help create both informative content for the station and training programmes which will encourage blind and partially sighted people into broadcasting; presenting, producing and eventually contributing to the daily schedule of output on the national station.


With extensive experience in broadcast media, you will have an appreciation of the issues debated by the blind and partially sighted community.

You'll also be prepared to work as part of a multi-skilled team to help develop the station and establish a professional service to listeners.

Based in London, the post will involve some travelling to other locations throughout the UK.

You'll have experience of producing, editing, and presenting audio content and be comfortable managing a studio environment.


You'll understand how to train people to develop audio production skills and enjoy working as part of a muti-disciplined team.
