Video Content Creator

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Digital Content Creator to join our team. As a key member of our creative department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that showcases our company's activities and engages our audience across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our brand's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging video content that highlights our company's strengths and achievements.
  • Storyboard, film, and edit short-form video content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and optimal channel performance.
  • Work with freelancers and agencies to deliver larger-scale projects that meet our brand's standards.
  • Repurpose content for various audiences and digital platforms, ensuring consistency and brand awareness.
  • Monitor video content performance and apply data insights to inform future content strategies.
  • Support social media content planning with our Social Media Manager to ensure seamless brand messaging.
  • Perform sound recording and basic editing for video interviews and performance videos, working closely with our Sound department.
  • Contribute creative ideas, stay updated on industry trends, and ensure brand consistency across all content.
  • Organize and maintain our digital content archive and video equipment, ensuring efficient workflow and accessibility.
  • Travel to Manchester as needed for specific project work, with occasional out-of-hours and weekend work required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Expertise in photography and videography, including the use of professional equipment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with a strong portfolio showcasing video projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
  • Solid understanding of digital content creation best practices for online platforms.

Desirable:

  • A degree in media production or a related field.
  • Experience in video/audio interviews and editing.
  • Passion for storytelling and interest in the arts.

Location: London, hybrid

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 (depending on experience)

Contract: 2 years
