Study Start Up Associate / Contracts SpecialistAs a member of the Study Start Up Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that physicians at our research sites are ready to initiate trials for new pharmaceutical and biological products for clinical studies at their local practices.
The Role- Review and negotiate clinical site investigator contracts and budgets.
- Maintain communication with Investigative sites, sponsors, and internal staff regarding contract statuses and related documents
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of contractual documents and correspondence
- Facilitate the indemnification process between the study sponsor and the site.
- Serve as an internal advisor on study budgets, train new and junior staff, and consult on the Investigator Contract and Budget development process.
- A bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Juris Doctor (law) degree, or relevant experience is preferred
- SSU experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in a clinical research setting with a focus on contract review and budget negotiation or in a similar role involving contract or legal document review as a primary function.
