About the Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will have the chance to work in a highly fulfilling field alongside inspiring service users and colleagues. Reporting to our Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting and participating in delivering a range of healthcare interventions.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the clinical team with healthcare assessments and treatments
  • Undertaking clinical supervisions
  • Providing harm reduction support, information, and advice related to substance misuse
  • Conducting detoxification assessments and Health Assessments
  • Supervising community detoxifications
  • Performing BBV screening and immunizations
  • Referring individuals to other services to address their health and well-being requirements
  • Assisting student nurses
  • Contributing to training and pathway development within the service
