Your Team Leader role:


We are looking for someone who will go above and beyond to make life amazing for our service users and our enthusiastic and professional support workers.

Our charity supports 15 adults with Learning Disabilities/Autism to lead fulfilling and independent lives whilst being active members of the community.

As our Team Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth and safe running of our houses.

This will include managing and creating the monthly rotas, updating and managing care plans, supporting and supervising assistants (including inducting new team members), as well as overseeing reporting such as medication records and health and safety checks.


You will work with our Registered Manager to ensure that:

  • We continue to provide high quality, person-centred care and support; supporting practical, social and spiritual needs of our people
  • Leading the service delivery in the house in line with L'Arche's values and standards, and the requirements of the Care Quality Commission [CQC].

As our Team Leader you will:

  • Be capable of leading and motivating a small team to provide excellent support and build a sense of community
  • Have gained this experience in a supported living or care setting. Be able to encourage each person in the house
  • with or without learning disabilities
  • to have a voice, share their views, have choice, and feel at home. Have a relevant Health and Social Care qualification (or comparable experience) to at least NVQ/QCF Level 3 in care.
