Maternal Medicine Networks (MMN) are central to NHS England's Improvement strategy for reducing mortality for all pregnant woman and reducing neonatal morbidity and mortality.

The aim of MMNs is to ensure women with acute and chronic medical problems have timely access to specialist advice and care at all stages of pregnancy.

MMNs will provide clinical leadership for the identification, referral and management of women and their medical conditions within the network, with identified Maternal Medicine Centres (MMC) having responsibility for co-ordinating the care required for this cohort of women.

The Administrator will work with the team to maintain spreadsheets, records, track invoices and collate related materials.

They will also organise meetings, create agendas and minutes as required and provide effective administration of a range of education courses and events.

Support a team working to reduce mortality for all pregnant woman and reduce neonatal morbidity and mortality.

Learn Trust and maternity specific IT systems for the requirements of the role.

Liaise with and be a point-of-contact for other vital departments within the Trust.

Part time 22 hours per week

  • Maintain effective databases, ensuring that working procedures relating to Data protection are adhered to.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained and provide statistical information to the Manager on a regular and ad hoc basis.
  • Responsible for the quality of the data and will participate in regular data cleansing exercises and liaising with staff from other organisations Responsible for the designing, improvement, maintenance and monitoring of administration procedures.
  • In conjunction with the wider team, the post holder will ensure that the service documents are continually developed and delivered in accordance with the requirements outlined by NHS England.
  • Experience of delivering highquality administration service and highly skilled with a variety of IT systems.
  • Experience in using complex and specialist databases.
