Head of global wealth & international PR - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity cover)

The role

Reporting to the head of corporate communications, this role is responsible for strategically implementing and driving the PR strategy for our global residential service line.

The role will manage the PR for all parts of the business that make up the global residential service line, including - Knight Frank's international team (covering Europe, the US and the Caribbean), the Private Office globally, all international residential development marketing (outside UK) and global residential research.

This role requires solid experience within PR, knowledge of working across international markets, excellent media relationships, experience managing multiple stakeholders, a collaborative approach, and a proven track record securing strong results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the global residential PR strategy, securing maximum positive media coverage for multiple teams across the business, including:
    • Knight Frank's international residential team (covering Europe, the US and the Caribbean)
    • The Private Office globally
    • International residential development marketing (outside UK)
    • Global residential research
  • Foster strong relationships with key media around the world to promote Knight Frank product, securing comment opportunities for spokespeople and positioning our thought leadership within international press
  • Work closely with Knight Frank agents and our network of associate offices, along with the research team to develop PR ideas to pitch to key media
  • Pitch, organise and attend press trips where required
  • Manage retained PR agencies across Europe
  • Responsible for developing and implementing the global PR strategy for all global residential research, including but not limited to Knight Frank's flagship report 'The Wealth Report'
  • Co-ordinate and work closely with Knight Frank's global network to ensure global campaigns are implemented effectively and generate strong results
  • Support Knight Frank's global PR network where required to ensure the Knight Frank brand is positioned appropriately around the world
  • Work with international project marketing team to promote key international development projects to media - working alongside Knight Frank offices/associate offices globally as well as PR agencies
  • Manage Senior PR Executive and collaborate with the wider PR and Marketing teams
  • Present regularly to Global Residential Board on PR achievements, as well as at regular meetings with the wider teams

Professional Experience and Personal Skills Profile

  • At least eight years' PR experience, ideally within property or a related field, ideally within the luxury space
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent media relationships, either in the property sector or a proven track record of establishing strong press contacts
  • Ability to understand global real estate markets, interpret research/data and pitch story ideas to press
  • Experience working across international markets
  • Highly organised with an ability to work at speed, across projects without any loss of quality of delivery
  • Confident and articulate, including good presentation skills, quick to learn and empathetic towards others in the business
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (including Excel and PowerPoint)
