Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
- Triage, and arrange appointments with Clinical Staff /amending appointments.
- Sign post patients to the appropriate Health Care professional
- Processing prescription requests
- Dealing with Patient Queries
- Scanning mail
- Managing GP diaries
- Patient administration (registrations, correspondence etc)
- Consult with other departments (Pharmacies, Nursing Homes, Treatment Room, Hospitals etc) to ensure Patient receives appropriate care
- Other admin duties as set out by practice
- Have knowledge of Emis and Docman software
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Pay:
£12.38-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25.00 per week
