This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's private leading comprehensive clinics in the heart of London.
The Ward Clerk will undertake administrative duties such as scheduling and managing bookings in conjunction with the clinical team and central reservations.
You will be expected to ensure revenue is captured in an accurate and timely manner through verifying and abstracting patients' account along with liaising in a professional and friendly manner when dealing with patients, relatives, visitors and other Caregivers.

On a typical day you will:
- Performing administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, letter writing and dealing with telephone enquiries, minute taking.
- Managing of personnel files in liaison with the Nurse Manager
- Responsible for stationery orders and maintenance of stationery levels ensuring strict cost control in liaison with the department manager
- Performing ad hoc duties/projects as directed.
- Updating departmental time sheets and enter workforce hours on Kronos/Workday/relevant systems.
What will you need to succeed in this role?
- Experienced in administration ideally in a hospital setting/aware of medical terminology
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing at all levels and with a variety of different stakeholders.
- Able to prioritise work to meet deadlines.
- Able to build strong relationships and foster teamwork
- The holder of a NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent in administration (Desirable)
