Staff Nurse

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a Staff Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill adults, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring level 2 and 3 care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Work collaboratively with senior staff to prioritize nursing care and recognize deterioration in patient condition.
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines to ensure well-coordinated and effective care.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Lead the nursing team in the delivery of patient care, collaborating with other disciplines to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
- Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) required, with no restrictions to practice.
- Evidence of full Occupational Health Clearance for Exposure Prone Procedures (EPP) required.
- Must be willing to undertake relevant post-registration courses.
- Demonstrable clinical experience in the field of high acuity critically-ill adults with invasive lines, mechanical ventilation, continuous and intermittent hemodialysis, and vasoactive intravenous medications in a hospital setting.
- Wide range of experience working in critical care specialties, including cardiac and cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, renal, and GI surgery.
- Completed Step 1 Critical Care Competencies Course.
- A competitive salary up to £45,450 depending on experience.
