Being a
Customer Service Assistant with us gives you a fantastic opportunity to showcase your ability to build relationships with customers. Don't worry though, we don't expect you to already be an expert in our products. You'll join our
industry-leading apprenticeship programme, enabling you to build the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to be best you can and to set you up for future success.
Our CCF Pursuit of Better Certificate is a 12 month Apprenticeship that will give you the tools to be successful in your role.

Training on offer:
- As part of your role you will enrol onto a 12 month programme, you will gain a Level 2 Trade Supplier qualification. All of your learning is "on the job", Travis Perkins values a worklife balance and there is no need for you to complete any of your work "out of hours". The training consists of a number of modules and you will have a dedicated coach that will guide you throughout, as well as being supported by your line manager (and in my case a really supportive team who I consider to be my friends)
never too old for a apprenticeship programme, I joined Travis Perkins as an Apprentice at the age of 26.
Once your
apprenticeship
programme is completed you will remain a valued member of the team.
What's the day-to-day?
No two days are the same, but ultimately you'll:
- Build relationships with customers over the counter and on the phone by taking orders, providing quotes, offering possible solutions and relatable products
- Be helpful and friendly, you will likely get to know our customers on a firstname basis
- Use your learnt knowledge of our products to assist with enquiries, provide product information, prepare quotes and help each customer with their purchase
