About the role

  • To be a qualified Teacher or willing to work towards.
  • To hold a relevant Degree qualification or equivalent.
  • GCSEs at Level 4/Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Current knowledge and / or experience of teaching Childcare.
  • Current knowledge of potential issues in Childcare.
  • Current knowledge and/or experience of one or more fields of Childcare.
  • Current knowledge and / or experience of one or more fields of Business.
  • Evidence of disseminating good practice effectively.
  • The ability to deal promptly and effectively with inappropriate behaviour in the classroom.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
