We have an exciting field sales opportunity to join the Hendy Performance team, representing a unique and iconic brand - MOKE.

The MOKE Product Specialist (Sales Advisor) position is a sales role responsible for proactively generating sales of this renowned sixties' symbol across the UK.

We are on the lookout for a talented sales professional to join the team to drive results, maximise sales opportunities and deliver an exceptional customer experience, providing in-depth expertise throughout a customer's purchasing journey.

Primarily field-based, we are looking for a friendly, driven and ambitious individual who can create memorable in person and digital experiences for our customers.


Previous experience within the automotive industry is not essential as, through our expertise in this arena, we will provide you with the right tools and training to thrive within the Performance and Specialist vehicle industry.

What is more important to us is you have a proven track-record in direct sales.

  • Whilst the base location for this position is Eastleigh, frequent travel across the UK (and regular remote working at weekends) will be required to fulfil the needs of this distinguished brand._

The Opportunity


This role will allow you the chance to combine your drive for excellent customer service with your desire to deliver sales, ensuring our customers receive a Hendy MOKE experience that is second to none.

You will:

  • Share your enthusiasm and passion for MOKE with customers, showing off each vehicles' spec and features, whilst maintaining a relaxed atmosphere for the customer;
  • Network, attend events and follow up on leads, building relationships with new customers (such as country clubs and golf clubs who may have a requirement for a small fleet of MOKEs) and proactively prospect new and existing customers to maintain your database and ensure repeat business;
  • Manage incoming MOKE enquiries from individual customers looking for a unique vehicle to enjoy a funfilled, opentopped adventure;
  • Be responsible for building rapport with customers to assess their needs and make recommendations for suitable products and services to meet those needs, whether by phone, online or facetoface, maximising sales opportunities for the business;
  • Provide quotations, arrange MOKE demonstrations and promote additional products and services, providing customers with all the necessary information they need to enhance their purchasing experience;
  • Play a key role in both promoting and building awareness of the MOKE and Hendy brands to ensure loyalty and develop business with prospective customers;
  • Achieve sales targets, upsell accessories and additional aftersales services, whilst continuously delighting customers; and
  • Maintain the digital content for the Hendy MOKE website and external portals (including photography and vehicle descriptions); monitor advert performance, including pricing and engagement; and produce personal product videos and social media content.

About You

  • Previous experience in sales is important, ideally in an environment where you have been responsible for selling high value products directly to customers, but this does not have to be from within the automotive industry.
  • Brilliant organisation skills and adaptability.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with business customers as well as private individuals and build relationships in all situations.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate in a professional manner.
  • You must have a desire for service excellence and an ability to continuously delight customers and deliver an exceptional experience.
  • Be selfmotivated, energetic and enthusiastic to learn.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems with speed and confidence.
  • Ideally you will have a good understanding of social media and a passion for digital engagement.
  • A proficient driver with a full UK licence.


Regular travel, overnight stays and weekend working will be required in the peak Spring and Summer months to visit customers across the UK.
