We are now looking for a Marketing Executive to join our Marketing and Communications and Commercial Marketing team on a six-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of an extension.
The RoleAs a Marketing Executive, you will support the development and promotion of marketing activity across two key branches of the IMechE Group.

Specifically, you will be involved with IMechE Learning & Development, our engineering training sub-brand, and One Birdcage Walk, the sub-brand for the venue hires of spaces.

Alongside the Commercial Marketing Manager, you will plan the marketing and digital strategy across B2C and B2B channels, producing a range of promotional materials, creating social media posts and supporting PR activity.

You will work closely with internal teams and key stakeholders to identify internal customer requirements, implement propositions and develop engaging, high-volume multi-channel campaigns that appeal to our target audience, enabling us to meet commercial objectives.


Additionally, you will:

  • Use analytics tools to report on campaign effectiveness and results
  • Undertake market research
  • Ensure marketing activities are planned within budget

  • Previous marketing experience
  • Experience of creating or managing multichannel campaigns
  • Proven experience of applying marketing tactics to generate leads
  • Experience using email marketing and content management systems
  • Experience of managing email campaigns, social media and advertising channels
  • A highly creative approach with experience in identifying target audiences
