We are looking for an Intelligence Co-ordination Support to join our team in Birmingham on a 12 month fixed term contract.

You will support the Sports Betting Intelligence Unit and Intelligence teams in recording and analysing intelligence, identifying risk and escalating issues which contribute to raising standards and initiatives, protecting consumers from gambling harm and keeping crime out of gambling.

Your Role


As an Intelligence Co-ordination Support, you will use your great team working skills to actively support the Intelligence team and Sports Betting Intelligence Unit in managing intelligence flows in and out of the Commission.


Your role also involves:

  • Building effective working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Providing a great customer focused approach that is fair, consistent and open.
  • Responding to confidential line calls which involve managing varied issues, making decisions and articulating appropriate advice.
  • Maintaining intelligence databases to enable the corporate memory to be kept current.
  • Updating website content, organising meetings and providing secretariat support.
This is a hybrid role, therefore there will be a requirement to attend our Birmingham Office.

About You

  • Ability to interpret information and intelligence, in order to create intelligence logs and supervise other team members' logs to ensure data inputting standards are met. This will require both decisionmaking and research skills.
  • Ability to build effective and collaborative relationships and communicate with external customers and internal colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Effective planning and organisation skills.
