Role: Philanthropy Manager
Reports to: Director of Fundraising and Engagement
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Terms: Full time, permanent, Hybrid (3 days in the office)
Salary: £45,000
The Philanthropy Manager will be spearheading the expansion of a portfolio of current supporters and potential donors contributing at generous levels, with an emphasis on attracting significant donations from new supporters. In this position, strategic thinking is crucial to crafting compelling cases for support and reporting on impact, collaborating closely with colleagues across different departments.
The role involves overseeing a team of three experienced fundraisers specializing in managing Major Donors, Trusts, and Foundations.
Skills and Experience:
- Seasoned and passionate Philanthropy Manager with a proven track record of meeting ambitious income goals and efficient prospect management.
- Individuals with a background in a children's charity or small to medium-sized enterprise with strategic planning experience will be highly valued.
- Confident and persuasive communicator - possessing excellent negotiation, presentation, and networking abilities, capable of engaging and motivating others swiftly.
- A supportive and collaborative team player who inspires action in others.
