About the Role:We are currently seeking to appoint a Singing Teaching Fellow (0.2) for our acting programme.
On BSU's Acting course, we recognise that actors willat times need to sing as part of their performance work, but that individuals will have differing levels of musical skill.
As part of our actor training processes we seek a singing tutor who can work with varied abilities, but help students develop clear strategies for singing on stage.
We are ideally looking for industry professionals who wish to diversify their activities but also have some experience of delivering at HE level.
About You:
You will have experience within the music industry, either as an artist or in an associated role.
You will have a proven industry record as singer or vocal coach for live or recorded work, but you will also understand how to balance that work with teaching that engages students.
You will be an enabler who can teach and assess students and prepare them to work in rehearsal and performance spaces, online, in person, or in auditions.

Part Time 0.2 FTE (7.4 hrs per week)
Salary - £37,099 per annum, £7,419.80 pro rata
