Senior Offshore Renewable Energy Underwriter - £90,000 to £110,000 for London
We currently have an opportunity for an

experienced underwriter or broker, who specialises in the field of renewable energy, to join our growing Renewable Energy and Engineering team. This would be a great job for someone who has gained excellent exposure recently to

underwriting Offshore wind, and who has a strong network within the London Insurance market.

A bit about the job:


We are expanding our Renewable Energy offering and you will support this expansion in line with Aviva's ESG and Zet Zero ambitions.

You will liaise regularly with a panel of brokers (both virtually and face-to-face), ensuring that strong working relationships are formed; undertake relevant underwriting tasks; and also be involved in strategic ideas and assist with product development, ensuring steady growth and success for this specialised area of underwriting.

Aviva introduced "smart-working" in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will need to be based a

commutable distance from our London offices.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Prior / recent London Insurance Market experience
-
Offshore Wind experience:

- thanks to undertaking a relevant underwriting or broker role recently

  • Excellent network knowledge of the London Broker market, matched with confident communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as you will have to work within a closeknit team
  • Portfolio management skills are highly desirable

  • Annual salary of £90,000 to £110,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
