Join Our National Team

The National Team, a dynamic multi-disciplinary group, offers various services to support Anthem's mission of creating successful schools for all students.

With expertise across governance, compliance, HR, finance, IT, and estates, the National Team plays a pivotal role in maintaining excellence across schools.

Role Overview

As a Governance Professional, you will collaborate with Anthem's governance community, supporting several Community Councils. Your role will involve working flexibly, with a mix of remote work and in-person attendance at school meetings, ensuring efficient clerking support. Some meetings may occur outside regular hours (Monday to Friday), with travel expenses covered.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate and attend ACC meetings, manage logistics, and document key information.
  • Support ACC recruitment and onboarding, ensuring compliance and training.
  • Contribute to creating and updating local governance templates and processes.
  • Understand Anthem's Governance Strategy and provide guidance to ACC members.
  • Assist in Governor Disciplinary Committees activities, following statutory and Trust guidelines.

Engagement and Community Responsibilities

  • Drive community engagement initiatives across governance communities, offering support and training.
  • Assist Community Champions in fostering community connections within schools.
  • Identify opportunities for network-building and partnerships at local and national levels.

This role entails close collaboration with the governance team to deliver proactive support aligning with the governance strategy. You will help in continuously enhancing support, systems, and processes to aid all stakeholders effectively.

While the mentioned responsibilities are key, the post holder may be tasked with additional duties as necessary.
