We are looking for support in the education and engagement of consumers and retail store associates, through supporting the UK & Ireland marketing team in the activation of brand campaigns, product launches and strategic partnerships inc.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITES:

  • Educate and engage consumers and retailers through effective training and promotional activity throughout UK&Ireland.
  • Support the curation of effective training materials and its delivery across appropriate online and offline training channels, with a focus on the end consumer.
  • Develop strong partner relationships and build a network of contacts to enable New Balance to consistently reach and engage new consumers.
  • Actively seek and engage running communities and crews to encourage product and brand engagement at all levels.
  • Passionately represent the brand across key events, product showcases, promotional activations, and training workshops to maximise consumer and retailer knowledge.
  • Supporting the team in the customer service of retailers, providing the required tools to deliver best in class sales and marketing solutions.
  • Manage the development and implementation of seasonal POS and digital assets ensuring the effective and appropriate branding of New Balance within our partner stores.
  • Support the development of trade marketing plans to identify and action opportunities and encourage sellthrough.
  • Amplify strategic partnerships and campaigns to support the growth of the performance running category.
  • Be a brand ambassador for cross category initiatives in support and events & learning and development.
  • Report back to the business on market trends, opportunities, and competitor activity.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

  • Sports Science degree and/or sports retail experience desirable.
  • Strong sales and customer orientation.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Highly organised and customer focused with a desire to succeed with a thriving brand
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Selfmotivated with an ability to use initiative
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Thrives in a fastpast environment
  • Good understanding of social media
  • Inspiring and convincing personality
  • Passion for running and the sports industry
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Valid UK driving license, as company car provided
