**What the role of Commercial Finance Analyst entails:**

- **BI and Reporting Development:**
- Design and enhance BI and reporting systems to facilitate financial and operational decision-making.
- Create and maintain meaningful financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency throughout all reporting platforms.

- **Financial Analysis and Insights:**
- Evaluate financial patterns and performance metrics to pinpoint areas for enhancement and growth opportunities.
- Offer actionable insights and strategic advice to aid decision-making processes.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise reports and analyses to management and other stakeholders.

- **Proposals and Strategic Ideas:**
- Formulate and present proposals and ideas based on analytical discoveries and trends.
- Work with cross-functional teams to execute approved strategies and initiatives.

- **System Development and Integration:**
- Engage in system developments and improvements, focusing on integrating IT solutions into finance operations.
- Test, assess, and provide feedback on system updates to ensure seamless integration and efficiency.

- **Asset Management:**
- Supervise asset management tasks, such as monitoring, valuation, and reporting.
- Monitor asset performance and offer suggestions for optimization and enhancement.

- **Ideal Candidate for the Commercial Finance Analyst role:**
- Demonstrated experience as a finance analyst or in a comparable role, with a significant emphasis on BI and reporting enhancement.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) (Desirable).
- Strong IT proficiency, including familiarity with system development and integration.
- Sound grasp of asset management and financial accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to articulate complex information clearly and succinctly.
- Meticulous attention to detail and adept at managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
