Thomas May is looking to recruit an experienced CNC operator/programmer to join its specialist team in North Yorkshire.


We are looking for someone who strives for only the finest quality, takes pride in having an eye for detail and a real passion for their craft.


  • Key Duties of a CNC Programmer:_
  • Programming SCM n100 CNC from Inventor 3D models and Autocad 2D
  • Specify the correct tooling and machining parameters based on chosen materials
  • Ensure the highest quality machining whilst optimising efficient production
  • Using tool path simulations to avoid error
  • Key Skills of a CNC Programmer:_
  • Proficient with CNC programming software (AlphaCAM preferable)
  • Relevant joinery and cabinetry experience
  • Fine attention to detail
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic team player who is motivated to work in a fast paced environment
