CNC Operator

Thomas May is looking to recruit an experienced CNC operator/programmer to join its specialist team in North Yorkshire.

We are looking for someone who strives for only the finest quality, takes pride in having an eye for detail and a real passion for their craft.
- Key Duties of a CNC Programmer:_
- Programming SCM n-100 CNC from Inventor 3D models and Autocad 2D
- Specify the correct tooling and machining parameters based on chosen materials
- Ensure the highest quality machining whilst optimising efficient production
- Using tool path simulations to avoid error
- Key Skills of a CNC Programmer:_
- Proficient with CNC programming software (AlphaCAM preferable)
- Relevant joinery and cabinetry experience
- Fine attention to detail
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Enthusiastic team player who is motivated to work in a fast paced environment
