Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as an Apprentice Telecoms Support Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance in managing our telecommunications systems. You will work closely with our Support department to ensure seamless communication services across the organisation.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and training in telecommunications while working towards an industry recognised apprenticeship qualification.

The programme will allow you to kick-start your career in an industry that is constantly evolving, dynamic and transformational.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Processing new mobile requests and ordering hardware equipment for customers.
  • Setting up new customer accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of telecommunication assets, contracts and service agreements.
  • Prepare and organise necessary paperwork, contracts and documents.

Customer Service:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer enquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions on the CRM database.
  • Generate reports on telecom usage, expenses and performance metrics for management review as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within telecommunications or IT support. - Strong interest in technology, telecommunications, and IT. Experience in the Telecoms industry would be an advantage. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Preferred Qualifications
University Degree BSc Hons. Higher National Diploma or similar. - GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science. (Grade 4/C in Math's & 5/C in English GCSE) - A previous apprenticeship program in a similar or relevant field will be considered

Training & Development
Participate in training programs and courses to develop technical skills and knowledge in telecommunications and IT. - Work closely with experienced industry professionals to learn best practices and industry standards. - Take initiative to expand expertise through self-study and research on new technologies and advancements.

Salary:
From £7.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
