OCU Modus (Part of the wider OCU Group) have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Project Administrator to join their team in Greenwich.


As an Apprentice Project Administrator will provide administrative and logístical support to the project teams to ensure the successful completion of OCU Modus projects.

They will assist in coordinating various aspects of the project, maintaining project documentation, and facilitating communication among team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Document Management

  • Maintain and organise project documents, including contracts, permits, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
  • Create and manage electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Ensure that all project documents are uptodate and easily accessible to team members.
  • Assist with the collation of site hand back documents and As Built information.

Communication

  • Assist in preparing and distributing projectrelated reports and meeting minutes.

Scheduling

  • Assist with creating and maintaining project plans.

Commercial

  • Assist in tracking project costs and maintaining project budget records.
  • Assist with monitoring cost changes and discrepancies.
  • Assist with the review of employee timesheets and subcontractor costs.

Procurement

  • Assist in procurement processes by obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries of materials and equipment.

Project Support

  • Collation of records from the Project delivery and distribution to the relevant parties
  • Assist in safety and quality control matters.

Data Entry & Reporting

  • Input project data into project management software or databases.
  • Assist with the generation of regular progress reports and update project status documents.

Team Support

  • Provide administrative support to project managers and team members as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous administrative or construction industry experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of construction processes and terminology is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management software is a bonus.
