The role supports the business with the development of Data Products for internal and external consumption to improve operational efficiency and provide timely insight for decision making.

Deliver data reporting BAU operational services.
Work with stakeholders and the wider Data team throughout the entire development life cycle
Document and contribute to production of project mandates and Statement of Works where required.
Ensure existing reports /standard KPI's are produced on time and at required quality.
Identifying and quantifying roadblocks/ bottlenecks which impact delivery of data operational services.
Implementing performance improvements to existing processes and data products
Supporting Self-Service Business Users to get the most from their tools and their data sets.
Integrate consistent MI and BI reporting into new acquisitions & Team Lifts.
Support the Business Analysis teams with development of PoC's to show case the capability of the tools.
Generating new/ ad hoc reports
Working with key stakeholders to generate insightful strategic and operational MI and BI

Utilising MI and BI tools to further CT's understanding of the organisation, its customers and how CT can reach its strategic objectives.

Scoping new BAU SSRS reports across CTA and other CT entities.
Scoping and building new PowerBI dashboards within the Datawarehouse.
Supporting data-related change projects
Working with the wider Data team to assist in investigating, profiling and reporting Data Quality Issues
Proactively identifying opportunities to improve MI and BI reporting as well as the data journey.
Supporting change by identifying KPI's for a business case and validating the business case post project completion.
Working closely with internal IT to deliver improved reporting, accuracy, and functionality.

Working with other CT entities to adopt the DWH to integrate their data and to improve end to end reporting.

Working closely with Data and BI Manager and other change operatives to ensure projects adhere to and are supported by the CT data strategy.

Ad hoc duties

As requested by your line manager or relevant Board Director, the role holder will perform reasonable ad hoc duties within the role holder's capabilities.

Passionate about Data
Skilled in developing data products to meet the growing needs of the business and our clients.
A close eye for detail and driving out the value-add from data.
Significant experience developing reports and dashboards over various data sets.
Ability to design and create complex data models for ingested data.
A strong understanding of Data modelling, Data warehousing schema's (Snowflake, Star)
Experience with MS Azure DevOps or Jira
Programming languages, MS TSQL, C#
Experience in the use of PowerBi, DAX, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS
XL VBA, Macros and Formulas
The ability to analyse, model and interpret data.
Competent skills in MS Office, in particular, SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience of Sun Systems Accounting Software (Desirable)
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Computer Science preferred, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
