The Student Services at LSBU are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic professional to join our senior management team and lead the Employability and Placements Department to deliver against the corporate objectives.

As the Head of Employability and Placements, you would take a lead role in determining the future design and direction of student employability, opportunities and placements and ensure the provision of an exceptional student experience.


You will be expected to manage the Employability and Placements Service and work closely with businesses and industry to create opportunities for students to maximise placements, internships, professional experiences and graduate opportunities.


We are looking for an individual who has demonstrable experience of successful management of careers service provision and student employment services; service improvements and Graduate Outcome results; managing and developing relationships within Industry and the Higher Education Sector at all levels.

Evidence of high-level analytical skills and use of data to develop evidence-based enhancement to service provision and the use of resources is essential.


Details about the role
This post is a Grade 9, £59,137 to £67,775 per annum, inclusive of £4,716 London Weighting per annum. open-ended position.


Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home, confirmation of days worked on campus are arranged with the line manager.
