The role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team.
Working within Northern Ireland the Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for the following;
- Engage with customers on our trade counter and provide product information
- To proactively develop new sales opportunities
- To receive enquiries and convert them into successful sales
- Process sales transactions
- Ensure all quotations are followed up and maximise all sales opportunities
- Build longterm relationships with new and existing customers
- Interpret working drawings/plans to design appropriate systems to meet Building Regulation requirements
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade events, and client events as and when required
- Work with the sales team to ensure profitable sales
- Manage administration through the Company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Prerequisites
- An HND/HNC in Building Services would be preferred
- Sales experience within the construction sector particularly the ventilation industry would be preferred
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful relationships with customers
- Strong influencing & negotiation skills are required
- IT literate with good experience of Microsoft 365 packages
- Selfmotivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
