We are the recruitment partner for a leading business in environmental science measurement technology, presenting a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Export Sales and Distributor Manager to join the dynamic Sales and Marketing team in Cambridge.
The selected Export Sales and Distributor Manager will collaborate with a network of international distributors, offering training and ongoing support in engineering and scientific matters.
In this role, you will discover and negotiate new business ventures, onboard new distributors, and manage high-value deals. Additionally, you will attend global exhibitions, engage in various UK and international projects, providing continuous learning prospects.
If you are a curious and motivated individual with international distributor experience in Science/AgriTech/Engineering, we are eager to know more about you.
Necessary qualifications:
The ideal candidate will exhibit the following:
- Proven track record in export sales/distribution management.
- Experience in negotiating substantial contracts.
- Proficiency in technical and scientific fields (e.g., electronic engineering, environmental instrumentation/plant science).
- Familiarity with environmental, plant science, agricultural, and horticultural markets would be advantageous.
- Degree qualification in engineering or applied science preferable.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach.
- Ability to form solid professional relationships.
- Highly motivated with a drive for success.
- Effective communication skills with international stakeholders and adaptation to various markets globally.
- Collaborative work ethic.
- Willingness to engage in frequent international travel.
