About the team
UK Direct is a highly driven and successful business unit consisting of around 14 team mates. Roles range from new starter Inside Customer Executives all the way through to Senior Business Development Managers. The business unit is sectorised across Retail and business services (Finance, Logistics, Utility, Insurance and many more). This gives team mates the opportunity to specialise and grow their career.

The role


The internal sales function reports to the Direct Sales Team Manager and focusses on supporting and selling, alongside an aligned external Account Managers.


Maintaining a high level of end user client contact, the internal role will also build close relationships with an aligned external sales Network to develop new opportunities and in supporting in the administration of accounts within a defined set of customers.

This relationship will become vital to the success of both the internal and external sales team.

What you will do

  • Speak daily with the external account management team
  • Promote products within the Location Intelligence product portfolio
  • Organise meetings with existing clients and prospective ones
  • Retain and grow the book of existing renewal accounts
  • Identify risk in the aligned renewal accounts and help to retain the business
  • Work within a target driven team
  • Qualify incoming marketing sales leads, directing as appropriate
  • Utilise the systems and tools to identify new opportunities in addition to maintaining an up to date customer record and forecast

What we're looking for

  • Experience of working within a target driven/performanceled business
  • An individual who is interested in developing a career in sales in a client centric and high activity environment
  • A good communicator, both orally and written
  • Experience in IT/Enterprise software business would be an advantage but not compulsory
  • Detail conscious and committed to keeping accurate and uptodate records
  • A motivated person, who is reliable and driven by success, reward and recognition
  • An individual who is can show business and commercial awareness, is entrepreneurial and a team player
