Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Release Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role sits within the Data Collections Product Group, and plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of release activities into the live production environment for both new and existing data collection services.
What you'll do:
As a Product Release Manager, you will be at the heart of our client's operations. You will manage a rolling portfolio of technical/functional system releases while providing guidance on prioritisation through established policy. Your role will involve identifying release readiness activities and creating detailed implementation plans while also orchestrating planning, tracking, reporting and assistance for delivery of release through the software delivery lifecycle. Additionally, you will also manage relationships with partners and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of specified releases.
- Manage a rolling portfolio of technical/functional system releases
- Identify release readiness activities and create detailed implementation plans
- Orchestrate planning, tracking, reporting and assistance for delivery of release through software delivery lifecycle
- Ensure services transition from change to live minimising risk and disruption to the organisation
- Manage relationships with partners, internal and external stakeholders for successful implementation of specified releases
- Ensure risks & issues regarding release management are effectively managed by nominated owners
What you bring:
- Strong experience of Multi-Supplier Service Delivery Operating Models
- Excellent understanding of the SDLC in multiple technologies
- Robust experience of leading IT delivery within project frameworks
- Experience in managing application releases within a multi business stream environment
- Strong experience of implementing large IT functional and technical projects into a live environment via a defined Release Management process
