SEN TEACHING ASSISTANTS


Edison Pope are recruiting for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants based in Burnley and Pendle area of Lancashire looking to support primary and secondary school aged pupils this academic year.


Main Duties

  • Create strong rapport with students and staff within a school setting.
  • Experience working within a school setting/ residential or care setting.
  • Clear understanding of special educational Needs such as ADHD, Autism, Global delay, Speech and language, dyspraxia and Dyslexia.
  • Support pupils with communication and interaction, cognitions and learning.
  • Support pupils with Social, emotional and mental health difficulties, sensory and physical needs.
  • Capable of aspiring pupils to achieve outstanding results.
  • Help to create a safe striving learning environment.
  • Attend CPD/ staff meetings.
