Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Aztec West, Bristol
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday:
- 6:00am – 2:00pm, and 2:00pm– 10:00pm (shift rotation)
- 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring a safe and secure environment with a strong focus on customer service
- Monitoring Security Systems
- Identifying risks proactively and escalating issues when needed
- Protecting company assets from theft, assault, fire, and other safety concerns
- Reporting incidents following defined communication protocols
- Adhering to Assignment Instructions and Emergency Preparedness procedures
- Managing staff, visitors, and contractors
- Ensuring compliance with site regulations and broader business policies
Requirements:
- SIA Licence – Door Supervisor / Security Guarding Front Line
- Experience in the Security Industry
- Verifiable 5-year work history and eligibility for SC Vetting status
- First Aid at Work certification or willingness to obtain it (covered by the company)
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Availability for shift work, including weekends and nights
- Good IT skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently
- Professional demeanor
