An opportunity to join the Front of House crew at London's newest exhibition and cultural events venue - Arches London Bridge.


We are looking for both Front of House Crew and also Front of House Crew Supervisors.

A recruitment day will be held in central London on Wednesday 30 August for applicants whose CVs meet our requirements.

Position Type:

Both roles will deliver a world class visitor experience and maximise visitor enjoyment by maintaining excellent customer service levels.


The role will ensure the smooth operational running of the ticketing, food and beverage, retail and exhibition spaces, ensuring that staff are well-informed, inspired and motivated and that the operations are run as commercially astutely as possible with the best levels of customer service.

The supervisor role will also have responsibility for opening and closing the venue.

Job Requirements:

Each crew member will work on a range of different workstations including:
Ticketing counter - scanning customer tickets and dealing with any issues for customers arriving for exhibitions at the venue

Cafe Bar - serving food and drinks to customers attending the venue

Merchandise counter - selling exhibition related merchandise in the venue's retail area

Exhibition - monitoring customers in the exhibition and answering any queries about the exhibition's content

  • Ensuring that a high level of housekeeping and hygiene is achieved through responding to issues immediately, undertaking regular checks on a regular basis.
  • Ensure that all toilet facilities are checked daily and that everything is in full working order and well presented.
  • Ensure café bar and merch stock is topped up
  • Developing knowledge and awareness of access requirements and proactively providing the highest possible standard of service for each visitor.
  • To have a proactive approach to learning about the exhibits within the experience to engage with customers about content.
  • To undertake adhoc administration duties to support the Visitor Experience team.
  • To maximise upselling opportunities with retail and catering services and products
  • To complete daily cashing up and dealing with any discrepancies in the first instance.
  • To ensure that the foyer and front desk space is clean and tidy and information material is readily available and attractively displayed and to take part in preopening and postclose cleaning including ensuring the outside of the venue is free of litter.
  • To work late nights and after hours events as required.

Salary:
£12.88-£14.66 per hour
