Primrose Croft Care Home in Cambridge.


Excelcare is a family-owned care home group established for over 32 years. We provide support to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities and mental health issues.

By joining us you will become one of the 'family' and in return for your dedication and hard work you can expect:

Salary: £17,973.00 per annum:

35 hours a week, Monday
Friday


You will join as an active member of the Administration Team and will work closely with the Management Team to ensure the smooth running of administration within the home and will help to ensure high standards are maintained throughout the home.


The role:

  • To implement appropriate and active administration systems within the Home
  • To provide all aspects of administrative support for residents, management and staff within the Home including Petty Cash, Banking, Invoices and Ordering, Staff Timesheets, Minute Taking, Reports, Residents Finances, Resident Admissions and Discharges
  • Answering the telephone and receiving visitors
  • To support with all areas of staff recruitment, training and supervision
  • To maintain and implement the organisations administrative policies and procedures
  • To attend team meetings and training

About you:

  • GCSE's in English and Mathematics
  • RSA 2 or equivalent in Typing or Word Processing
  • NVQ or equivalent in Administration is desirable
  • Good IT skills including the use of Word, Excel spreadsheets and Outlook
  • Experience of Minute Taking
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK
