THE ROLE

  • We're looking to appoint a Stock Control Assistant to support our busy Stores Department. Responsible for the organisation of bespoke competition car parts, the Stock Control Assistant will work with Department Heads to ensure the smooth running of operations across all areas of the business.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring accurate records for a large and varied inventory of competition car parts.
  • Working closely with Department Heads to ensure stock levels in accordance with ongoing programmes and development projects.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy environment across all areas of the Stores Department.
  • Creating clear and effective labelling to ensure a wellorganised Stores Department.
  • Maintaining and replenishing stock levels with regular stocktakes.

  • We're looking for a selfmotivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • You should be well organised with a keen eye for detail; and be capable of prioritising busy workloads in a timesensitive environment.
  • You should have good communication and teamworking skills, and work effectively whilst following direction as well as under your own initiative.
  • You should have strong computer skills with knowledge and understanding of computerised stock control systems.
  • A basic knowledge of vehicles and their technical parts is preferable but not essential, and experience in a similar stockrelated environment would be an advantage.
