Position:
Senior Corporate Solicitor/Partner 5 Years+ PQE (Or Equivalent Experience)

Due to continued success, our award-winning, dynamic, Corporate & Commercial team with a vast array of regional, national and international business clients and specialisms is seeking an ambitious and experienced Corporate Solicitor/Partner (minimum of 5 years PQE (or equivalent experience) to partner level) to assist in the expansion of a successful and well-respected team.

This is a key role that requires exceptional legal expertise, business development skills and a proven ability to bring in a client following while generating new business.

The work undertaken by our Corporate & Commercial team is exciting and diverse, it's challenging and fulfilling.

If you join our team there is no doubt that you will find yourself working with great people, both in and out of the firm, you will also find yourself working with games developers and other businesses around the world and on transactions which have, in recent years, ranged from small to over £100m.

You will use your experience to advise clients based in the region and further afield both in the UK and abroad on all aspects of Corporate law.

The services the Corporate and Commercial team offer to clients are wide-ranging.

Corporate work would include, but not be limited to, share and asset sales/purchases, mergers, demergers, corporate restructures, share buybacks, shareholder agreements, share incentive schemes, partnership agreements, investments, secured lending and company constitutional activities.

The Corporate & Commercial team at Eaton Smith are well established and have an excellent reputation in the UK and overseas.

In 2022, they were the proud winners of the 'Team of the Year – Business Law Award' from LawNet, a network of 80+ law firms across the UK.

The team were recognised for all work but, in particular, the huge range of transactions that they work upon and their nationally recognised work in the video games industry, such work forming some of the activities that the successful candidate would be involved in.
