About the Role:
Spencer Clarke Group is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Unqualified Teaching Assistants in Preston schools. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school environment and contribute to a positive learning experience for all children.
What you'll do:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and creating a stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assist with individual students, including those with SEN, to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Contribute to classroom tasks such as preparation, marking, and resources.
  • Foster positive relationships with children and support their social and emotional development.


You'll be a great fit if you:

  • Have relevant experience working with children (e.g., childcare, playgroup, mentoring).
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Are patient, adaptable, and a team player.
  • Are eager to learn and develop your skills within the education sector.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have, or are willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check (support available).
  • Are available to work school hours (8:30am - 3:30pm).
  • Have the right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
