Description
Transport Manager COmpliance Responsibilities

  • Ensure all operational activities are compliant with relevant legislation, regulations and internal procedures.
  • Monitoring all investigation activity to understand root cause and make sure that corrective and preventative action and solutions have been complete.
  • Ensure full departmental compliance through regular monitoring of QHSE/Sustainability/Fleet standards. This includes PPE, Vehicle checks, CV servicing and MOT's, VOR's, Contractor, hygiene, temperature checks, pest control, accidents and near misses.
  • Ensure all inspections, checks, tachograph and all other monitoring is carried out on time and in line with company policy
  • Produce relevant reporting and management information to increase efficiency, business improvement and customer satisfaction
  • Offer guidance, advice and coaching on transport issues, set expectations, and communicate clearly on the required standards and policies to all within transport and other departments.
  • Deputise for the Transport Operations Manager if required

Profile
Transport Manager Compliance Experience

  • National Management CPC
  • Proven transport compliance experience
  • Management of both drivers and supervisors
  • Specialist in driver and vehicle legislation
