JOB OVERVIEW
As a driver for LGV/HGV vehicles, your primary responsibility will be to deliver goods and services efficiently and safely. It's crucial to maintain the company's assets, provide top-notch service to customers, and uphold high standards of safety for all.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure daily vehicle safety checks and promptly report any issues.
- Handle company assets with care and operate them according to guidelines for optimal performance.
- Safely load and secure the vehicle within legal limits.
- Drive efficiently while following all road traffic regulations.
- Prioritize health and safety of all stakeholders on the road.
- Portray a professional image of the company and report any pertinent issues affecting business.
- Support yard activities and other tasks during non-driving periods.
- Complete reports accurately and on time to aid business management.
- Contribute to business success and profitability.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- HGV Class C license.
- Drivers CPC Card.
- Valid Tachograph Card.
- Comprehensive Training provided.
- Newly qualified drivers encouraged to apply.
- Flexibility to work alternate Saturdays.
