Purpose

As a Senior ALM Actuary at Just, you will play a crucial role in managing the ALM position of the Group and its regulated insurance entities.

Job Role Accountabilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of internal securitization processes to convert cash flows into MA eligible notes
  • Assess liquidity and ALM implications of Group projects related to new asset or liability classes
  • Perform quantitative analysis of ALM positions and recommend actions for the investment portfolio
  • Maintain efficiency of Matching Adjustment Portfolios for Solvency II
  • Prepare materials for various committees
  • Analyze and optimize ALM position strategies
  • Develop longterm liquidity frameworks
  • Provide input for shortterm liquidity analysis
  • Implement capital projection platforms
  • Collaborate with other business units
  • Conduct validation activities
Skills and Knowledge

  • Indepth understanding of life insurer balance sheets and Solvency II requirements
  • Strong problemsolving abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proactive issue identification and resolution
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
Experience

  • Extensive experience in life insurance companies, specifically in capital management, ALM, or Internal Model
  • Track record in developing solutions for technical issues
  • Prior exposure to capital optimization, ALM, or capital transactions is advantageous
