We are searching for a

C# .NET Software Developer

to join an innovative and forward-thinking provider of fleet and asset management software.

Up to

£55,000 pa , dependent on experiencenRemote/Hybrid

– Occasional meetings in Tamworth officen25 days holiday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESnDesigning, developing, modifying, and maintaining our client's range of

software products

in line with published standards and guidelines.nPropose and assess solutions to design issues

by identifying and evaluating new technologies and third-party components.nMentor and develop

junior members of the team.nHold a

natural curiosity

and approach to learning

new technologies

relevant to the business.nInterpret business requirements and technical specifications to

complete estimates for change requests


within established SLA's.nGain an understanding of our client's industry and customer base requirements and how they are met by our client's product range.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential:
nProven experience developing

Windows Forms applications

in

C# or VB.NETnWeb development experience in

ASP.NET MVCnUnit testing experiencenAn ability to debug large, multi-solution, multi-layer projects.nObject Oriented programming practices, SOLID principles and design patterns.nSQL, Microsoft SQL Server

(2012 onwards), relational database design and performance diagnostics, with an ability to


write and optimise SQL queries.nUK resident with unrestricted rights to work in the UK; please note we cannot offer sponsorship for overseas candidates.


Desirable:

nKnowledge of Entity FrameworknAgile and Waterfall methodologiesnWeb API, REST API and API DesignnFront-end: CSS3 & HTMLnJavascript Frameworks, specifically Knockout (Javascript MVVM frameworks)nAn understanding of security considerations when designing and developing public-facing applications and API endpoints.

nDevOps and deployment of projectsnDeveloping Windows Services
