Our client is an innovative PE backed technology organisation dedicated to revolutionising decision-making processes through cutting-edge technology.

Role Overview:

Join our team as an Anaplan Model Builder where you will be at the forefront of collaborating with our clients' chosen System Integrator to deliver efficient and effective management information solutions using Anaplan.

You will closely work with the Workstream Lead to comprehend, document, and design processes and reports aligning with the business's reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, and third-party system integrators to define functional design details.
  • Design, configure, and test solutions in an Agile setup.
  • Stay current with the latest Anaplan technologies and industry best practices.
  • Develop dynamic models, complex business rules, and visually appealing dashboards in Anaplan.
  • Integrate data sources with Anaplan seamlessly through various methods.
  • Utilize advanced formula writing for accurate forecasting and predictive modeling.
  • Ensure precise tracking and management of model changes through version control practices.
  • Provide training, support, and user guides to maximize Anaplan model usability.
  • Conduct maintenance and updates to Anaplan models after going live.
  • Facilitate stakeholder reviews and contribute to release planning sessions.
  • Arrange show and tell sessions with end-users to ensure alignment and system familiarity.
  • Produce high-quality documentation for all deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Prior consulting experience or Financial Planning and Analysis experience, preferably in a Big 4 or equivalent organization.
  • Strong data modeling skills with exposure to building financial planning and forecasting models.
  • Proficient in Excel and multi-dimensional data architecture.
  • Prior experience with EPM tools, ideally Anaplan.
  • Demonstrated ability to present analysis and outputs effectively to stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and flexibility in managing complex financial data and models.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in constructing and maintaining Anaplan models, including dimensions, hierarchies, and relationships.
  • Proficiency in formulating complex calculations, formulas, and logic within Anaplan modules.
