Anaplan Model Builder - London - Hybrid

The Role:

This is a unique opportunity for an Anaplan Model Builder to play a pivotal role in a large-scale, end-to-end Anaplan implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Finance, as well as external partners, to define, scope, test, and deliver solutions that support critical business processes such as Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Anaplan models to support key business functions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the successful implementation of Anaplan, including scoping, testing, and delivery phases.
  • Translate complex spreadsheet models into effective and efficient Anaplan solutions.
  • Ensure ongoing optimization and enhancement of the Anaplan platform to meet evolving business needs.
  • Develop functional specifications, test plans, and user stories, while managing the end-to-end project lifecycle.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in S&OP, IBP, and FP&A, leveraging your deep understanding of multi-dimensional modeling.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations on how to maximize the use of Anaplan across the organization.


Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading successful Anaplan implementations across multiple projects.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel, with strong skills in macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Deep understanding of multi-dimensional modeling and data integration (ERP, CRM, APS).
  • Anaplan Level 1, 2, and 3 certifications are essential.
  • Experience with the Anaplan Agile methodology or 'The Anaplan Way' is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to work across teams and manage tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
