This position is available on a full-time, part-time, or job-share basis with flexible working arrangements.
- Providing concise, accurate, and timely advice to support ministers and senior officials in making sensitive decisions with legal risks.
- Updating senior officials and ministers on relevant developments related to sanctioned persons and countries.
- Assisting with licensing requests, collaborating with Treasury Legal Advisers, and assessing the risks associated with granting or refusing licenses.
- Building relationships with HM Treasury and FCDO policy teams and other government entities.
This role offers you the chance to take ownership of high-profile, high-risk international work, helping you expand your network of contacts within and outside the government.
No specific experience or background is required.We are seeking individuals who can effectively prioritize tasks, deliver high-quality work promptly, and excel in a collaborative environment that values communication.
