There is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Assistant to join a thriving, growing, well-established firm of Accountants based in Ramsgate, Kent.


About the firm:
With over 30 staff, this firm of Accountants are keen to expand their existing team.

This 2-site firm takes a professional but informal approach to working with their clients, to ensure that all their clients' business needs are understood and met.


Key responsibilities:

  • Processing weekly/fortnightly/monthly payroll to a large scale.
  • Manual Calculations such as dealing with starters/leavers and sick pay etc.
  • Dealing with RTI and Auto Enrolment (Pension Submissions).
  • Reporting to the head of the Payroll department as and when appropriate.
  • Liaising with Clients when needed.
  • Some Bookkeeping duties may be required when necessary.
  • Practice experience would be preferable, although commercial experience with multisite clients will be considered.
  • Excellent written English and communication skills to facilitate efficient contact with clients.
  • This is a fastpaced role in a growing firm, so the ability to work to deadlines, organise your work and use up to date software is a must.

Additional information:

  • Parttime positions will be considered
  • Salary from £22,000 p/a to £27,000 p/a
